“If marriage shows us the shape of the gospel, singleness shows us its sufficiency.”
- Sam Allberry
Is singleness a purgatory from which we need saving? Or is singleness the ticket to freedom from being tied down in marriage?
In a world that is becoming hazier than ever about the meaning of singleness and marriage, it’s more important than ever to have clarity about what the gospel says about singleness.
But wait! This study about singleness is not only for singles! Married people and singles both have blind spots; we need each other to help us see ours, and to point each other to Christ.
To that end, we will be reading through a short book called 7 Myths About Singleness by Sam Allberry, and we will be guided ably by Meaghan Burke and Ian DeJong.
The sessions will take place on Wednesday evenings, starting May 13th at 7 PM at New City Church.
Whether you are single or married, join us in May for a gospel-rich exploration of singleness!
