Our church's vision is to see God renew all things as we faithfully build a community of the Spirit in the heart of the city, announcing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We love the arts, we love Hamilton, and we want to see our city made whole through the gospel!

With that vision in mind, the New City Arts team initiated a collaborative art project, namely a mosaic, that showcases a wide diversity of unique, individual pieces that come together to make a beautiful unity--much like our city! We would love to welcome all the people of Hamilton to join us as we unveil the artwork in its entirety for the first time on Sep 11th!

Is singleness a purgatory from which we need saving? Or is singleness the ticket to freedom from being tied down in marriage?

In a world that is becoming hazier than ever about the meaning of singleness and marriage, it’s more important than ever to have clarity about what the gospel says about singleness.

But wait! This study about singleness is not only for singles! Married people and singles both have blind spots; we need each other to help us see ours, and to point each other to Christ.

To that end, we will be reading through a short book called The Ultimate Guide to Christian Singleness by Mark Ballenger, and we will be guided ably by Meaghan Burke and Ian DeJong. Click on the title to access the PDF for free.

The sessions—5 in total—will take place on Wednesday evenings, starting May 13th at 7 PM at New City Church.

Our plan is to host a weekly gathering in the meeting room every Saturday at 2:00 PM, starting April 25, where English learners can practice and grow in their conversational skills with the help of discussion facilitators. We are currently looking for more participants to join us, so if you know anyone who is new to Canada and wants to work on their English, let them know about this opportunity. Starting March 1, 2026, catechism sessions for all ages will run from 12:00-12:30 p.m. after every church service, with the exception of one Sunday a month. A more detailed schedule will be released to those who register.

Calling all men!  On Tuesday February 24, men’s ministry will be screening the movie “Courageous” at the church at 7 pm. This will be the kick off for this seasons men’s ministry.  After the screening, we will introduce the concept of discipleship groups we are forming.  We will have a short discussion and invite all to join.

It’s run by ordinary Christian people local to you and is completely free. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible, and you won’t be asked to pray, sing, or read aloud. You can ask any question you like, or you can just sit and listen.

Whoever you are, whatever you’re thinking, CE is a place for you to explore what life’s all about. It might just be the best news you’ve ever heard!

Complimentary lunch is included! The course begins on Feb 15 at 12:30 PM and continues Feb 22, Mar 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.
