The chosen one of God will change our sad situation, our sinful lives and our stained reputation.

“Look at my servant, whom I strengthen.

He is my chosen one, who pleases me.

I have put my Spirit upon him.

He will bring justice to the nations.

He will not shout

or raise his voice in public.

He will not crush the weakest reed

or put out a flickering candle.

He will bring justice to all who have been wronged.

He will not falter or lose heart

until justice prevails throughout the earth.” - Isaiah 42:1-4 (NLT)

The Father’s promise of restoration takes God’s people from exile to homecoming, from profanity to purity and from hearts of stone to hearts of flesh.

Jesus prepares his church for mission by commissioning, ascending, and attending.

With His resurrection, Christ gives peace to the fearful, mission to the timid, and mercy to the doubters.

The resurrection of Jesus changes our relationship with death and our relationship with God and his people.

The Light has come to overcome the darkness. His name is Jesus, and Christ, the fullness of God is revealed. In John 1:29 we look at three questions: Who is Jesus? What did Jesus come to do? And what does it mean for us today?
